The 2008 Annual Education Conference titled “Addiction Nursing and the Public’s Health: Healthy People 2010 Initiatives” will focus on where we are and how we move forward. At the end of this conference participants, should have a better understanding of the goal of the Healthy People 2010 Initiatives Program, created by the CDC, and its efforts to improve mental health and ensure access to appropriate, quality mental health services and substance abuse treatment.
